Neil Young was the subject of one of the biggest rumors this year at Sundance. He was supposedly billed as a ‘Special Guest’ at a small music club called the Star Bar on Main St. So taking rumor as fact, I waited in line with some friends, and then waited in the club for 3+ hours for the chance to see a rare performance by the man himself. What fallowed was a short glimpse of Young singing backup vocals on “Rockin’ in the Free World.” I caught most of it on my digital camera, and now thanks to the hocus pokus of Youtube, you can feel the same disappointment as myself.
